PHASE 1
Analyse + Studio
The sound dimensions of the accordion are carefully analyzed and recorded in the studio set up in Krastal. The versatile instrument contains a very large spectrum of frequencies which gives the possibility that not only one or more tones and chords are audible, but also noisy signals. Various techniques such as vibrato, tonglissando, clusters, bellowshake (balgtremolo) as well as various percussion effects will be used in the studio. Only selected accordions are used, nothing else!

PHASE 2
„work in progress“ between composition and improvisation
The sections of the studio recordings of different lengths are selected in a “handcrafted and playful” manner and put together again. The usually rather cool strength of electronic beats will be expanded and enriched by unfamiliar timbres of the accordion. The danceable rhythms create a fresh look at genre boundaries and in the end there are 2 human voices ...
